She's not a Spanish citizen so she's an easy target.

Also, her undeclared income was exposed as part of the Paradise Papers leak. European governments have - particularly Spain - have been cracking down hard on those who have been exposed by these leaks.

Spain does everything it can to get any Euro it can for outside sources. I know someone who’s family were professional divers and treasure hunters. They would never take the found “treasure” but instead sell the information back to Spain because otherwise they will sue them for items that were lost 400 years ago and the litigation isn’t worth it.
