I mean, the Spanish government went after their own king for being a tax cheat! They have to prosecute a foreigner like Shakira.
Spain does everything it can to get any Euro it can for outside sources. I know someone who’s family were professional divers and treasure hunters. They would never take the found “treasure” but instead sell the information back to Spain because otherwise they will sue them for items that were lost 400 years ago and the litigation isn’t worth it.
