I think what OPs questions really is is more geared toward if she wants parents to stay and eat is a Costco pizza appropriate/enough.  It is fine for kids but if you know the adults are staying and it is at a meal time there should be another food option too.[/quote]

Normal people (e.g. not DCUM snob-moms) would (a) not expect to be fed at kid's party (b) be perfectly happy with costco pizza because heck, who hasn't picked up a pizza on the way out of Costco before? and (c) never complain about the food at a kid's birthday party.
