Of course she is not a saint, and she is “conniving” and “ruthless.” Why would anyone think otherwise? Does anyone expect Jeff Bezos or Steve Jobs to be nice guys? Obviously not. She is not above critique for her actual performance, but the commentary about her style is so clearly gendered.
Shut up. Bezos, Jobs, Musk, Gates and others are/were conniving, ruthless, narcissistic, avaricious, and borderline sociopathic…and we know this because people say so!! What’s “gendered” is that Sandberg insulated her vicious, cold blooded ways from criticism for years by playing the sexism card. It was part of the nauseating to see this cruel hypocrite, who washes out other women without a second thought, positioning herself as a defender of women’s rights and writing that stupid f—king book ”Lean In.” A man wouldn’t have gotten away with that kind of flagrant charlatanism. It’s absolutely fair to call her out for all of her miserable ways.
