So I see there’s a meeting about it. Will people bring up concerns about schools in the area and how FCPS will deal with it? Also-is this something that people can bring up to the school board meetings?
Anyone?
You can bring it up at any upcoming School Board meeting. The project will be in the Hunter Mill District - Melanie Meren is the representative. Marshall HS is in the Providence District - Karl Frisch is the representative. Langley HS is in the Dranesville District - Elaine Tholen is the representative. This is a win-win opportunity to use space at Langley, avoid further overcrowding Marshall, and demonstrate that "One Fairfax" isn't an empty slogan. Those who claim it's far away from Langley must not understand the current boundaries or the fact that many students who live further from Langley than Dominion Square West already attend Langley.
