Average sat is just over 1400.

Profile is probably 3.5/1410. 
That's my guess.
Also, not all grading is the same at the various "Big3" schools.  I have kids at STA and NCS and NCS is far stingier with grades.  
My impression is that Sidwell is also stingy but GDS kids have higher GPAs. [/quote]

There is no way, none, that Sidwell provided internal SAT data to the WSJ.  Or GPA, since we're on the topic. The PP who posted the 2019 article from WSJ should go back and look at the WSJ's data source -- bet it's some nonsense like Niche.

Sidwell doesn't give this information to [i]its own students[/i].
