I have former classmates that shared on social media all colleges that their kid was a recruited athlete at. Every single one. The post received over 400 likes. People are happy for this kid. Some pals have not posted, and that's okay. What's weird to me are people coming on this site who post stuff like "my kid got into a few top twenties, but would be miserable if this week they don't get into the 6 Ivies they applied to." That's insufferable and full of brag. And what about the post where the mom talked about how everyone, everyone expected her smart as a whip son to get into a top Ivy and so far the results have been disappointing, so much so that when she talks to friends and share the news, they are all shocked and surprised at where he got rejected from. So it happens, and no one should judge others that share. It may not be your cup of tea, but for others it works. Like I said, to each their own.[/quote]
