Never?  Not even last summer?  I was going maskless then because case counts had dropped and almost everyone in the stores was mask-free. I thought we were finally turning a corner then.  And then colder weather came, new variants spread, and we all ended up in masks again. *sigh*

Where I live and work, almost everyone is still wearing masks.  I am very grateful I chose to continue wearing my mask last week at work as I ended up catching Covid (first time in two years right when case counts are going down...grrr...) and my mask helped reduce the odds of spreading it to all my students and co-workers.  Grateful that I also require my children to wear their mask because my oldest daughter caught it as well and having spent all day in school with her mask on the day before she developed symptoms and we tested her, she could have spread it then. Hopefully, her mask limited her spread as well.

I am SO READY to not be wearing masks but I share a classroom with a pregnant teacher and with a few students who are immune compromised.  I'll do what I can for now to limit my chances of spreading anything to them. I *should* be good to go now for 90 days since I've had it but no idea what's going on with his new variant.[/quote]
