But the truth is that I could not give less of a sht what percentage where a mask or don’t as long as I don’t have to.
Most of the people still masking are either neurotic or virtue signaling, but not all of them and I don’t care enough to distinguish one from the other as long as my own beautiful smile is uncovered.
Today at the Vienna Whole Foods I saw a lady with the big mask and the plastic face shield. She is either completely neurotic or super virtue signaling because she can do pick up or delivery if she is truly sick. There is no need for that crazy.
This was my MIL a few weeks ago in Florida. Her husband had terminal cancer and was undergoing immunization treatments along with being on a ton of other medication. She was also very particular about the food she purchased for him so didn't want to do online ordering. I guess that counts as crazy? Especially since he died anyway? Maybe I'm weird but I would've looked at the Whole Foods woman and hoped her or her loved ones were okay instead of judging her as crazy/neurotic/virtue signaling. Wow.
Yeah. I hate to say it but I don’t. She can do grocery pick up. It’s ridiculous at this point. If she is thst scared and has a real reason to be that scared, there are safer ways to get groceries. It is theater.

I get thinking they are kind of annoying, but people are so weirdly excited about this, like every minute was torture. I'm sure they genuinely feel this way, but I don't get it. My mom has severe claustrophobia -- wearing a mask was genuinely difficult for her at the outset. But these people who are SO EXCITED? Was it really so awful? Are you all claustrophobic? It just didn't register in terms of hardships I've experienced in my life.
Yes. For me and my family, it really was that awful. So so happy to hear the DC school news today!
Wow, how weak that you considered a small thing like masking a true hardship.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I can’t believe I have to remind people not to ridicule those who continue to mask; there are many who have no choice due to health conditions. WTF is wrong with people?
N95 sure.
A cloth mask?
Sorry, but I laugh at those who deny climate change in the same way.

They are entitled, self-centered brats. I can’t wait until something actually terrible happens to them for once in their spoiled little lives. Here for it.
NP but this is a horrible thing to say. I bet you work from home so you wear a mask just to walk your dog through the neighborhood and go to the grocery store once a week? I wear a mask all day long and haven’t seen the faces of most people I work with in a year. So yes I’m exciting to not wear the mask anymore.
And one of the most horrific things you can imagine that I would never wish on anyone happened to my family last year. But I would never wish that experience on you, no matter how obnoxious you are.
You see their faces. You don't see their nose or mouth and anyone with common sense will continue to mask and distance from you.
You sound like a child. But I know you are just someone who sits in their basement in sweatpants all day ‘working from home’. Please continue to enjoy such a rich and full life. I’ll be out interacting with actual people.
You sound lower middle class and envious of what others have that you do not. Your claim to fame is that no one can make you wear a mask anymore. You should have worked harder in life to make something of yourself. I’ve noticed most anti-maskers are not the most successful or educated people in the world which explains a lot.
