Could she be happy enough being house-poor?  What if you can’t buy all the furniture all at once?  Will she be willing to eat beans and rice — and will you?  Will she be willing to forgo designer purses, shoes, travel, and household help like cleaners, if she has to?  Those are personal decisions only the two of you can make.

Do your research, do the math, talk about all the issues together, and you’ll get your answer.[/quote]
