So you may not can extrapolate all over the country, but these types of policies ARE being pursued nationally by cities where the progressive left is in control.  And people do not like it.  I wish DC could get rid of its entire Clown Council, but the fact that city governance is controlled via the democratic primary means that the lunatic fringe---just like the right wing nut jobs in red states---can get far more control than they deserve.[/quote]
