2s are a suggestion to contact the teacher for support in core areas.
I also learned that repeated 2s are in some of the citizenship categories are a way a teacher might convey concerns about potential ADHD [b]since they can't outright tell you that. [/b][/quote]

Several of DC's teacher said DC was having problems staying focus, was impulsive, inattentive, recommended that I hire a tutor so she could complete her work after school. I got her tested. She had severe ADHD, went to psychiatrist, started treatment. We went to the school with the report because there was a bunch of accommodation recommendations, the local screening committee meeting said that there was insufficient evidence for evaluation and that in their opinion, the ADHD was not adversely affecting her education. Three years later, we got an advocate and FCPS couldn't move fast enough to find DC eligible for special education and an IEP. The reason the school downplay these issues is that they don't want to evaluate or provide services.  [/quote]
