I don’t know anyone who died of a vaccine in all my 50’years. Don’t know anyone who died of flu- only know handful who died of cancer- But I’ve lost 9 close friends- coworkers- biz partners- in last year to Covid- so it’s  crazy. 
   So end of day- I did what I felt was right decision for kids. They both got bit sick for day or two- oddly- but all better now. I did decide that for next year or next phase, I’ll leave to my son. Not sure on 13 year old daughter. 
   But son will be old enough in future to have some weigh in. Like flu shot- but will tell him that missing a lot of school being sick will have consequences too.

I follow the CDC and Acad of Pediatrics- don’t let emotion get in way. It should be scientific debate only. Period. And I do think about polio vaccine- and how many people died or were crippled with that disease and what a miracle everyone thought the vaccine was.  Saved millions- so I try to walk that line.
