The user had no friends and four followers.  He was banned the day after he scammed my son, so I suspect Roblox knew he was a scammer.  However, they said my son’s account was not hacked.

The first three times I wrote to Roblox, they insisted that my son must have authorized the trade.

I kept writing - every day — attaching screenshots and noting why what they were saying was wrong.

After the 6th exchange, they restored my son’s items.

Lessons learned - Roblox customer service agents aren’t very bright nor do they read. Keep writing and complaining while keeping things polite.

I suspect eventually they figured out I was not going to stop writing them, and they decided it was cheaper to restore my son’s items than have customer service spend time responding.
