Suddenly I get a call from the mom accusing my DD of stealing ALL of her stuff on Roblox! I immediately checked her account and she had absolutely nothing, and didn’t even know about trading. The mom was ready to burn my child at the stake for stealing. We never got to the bottom of it but now I wonder if it was a bug!

Whether this is refundable depends on a couple of factors. First, ask your son two questions: Were you trading limited items directly from Roblox? Or playing a game on Roblox (such as "Adopt Me") where you lost your items?
If the former is true, then contact Roblox support with the description of a "bug" rather than a hack and hope for the best.
If the latter is true, then there is unfortunately almost nothing that you can do. Roblox (the company) has no jurisdiction over the community made games hosted on their platform. Your best bet is figuring out the developer of the game within Roblox that this bug/scam occurred in and contacting their support.

This evening, he was on Roblox and someone offered him an item as a possible trade. When he went to look at it, somehow the other trader managed to get ALL of his Roblox items worth 65,000 Robux (about $900) in the real world.
This represents almost a year of trading and investing birthday, Christmas, and allowance money in Roblox.
We reported it as a hack. They wrote back that it wasn't hacked, and said there's nothing they could do about legitimate trades. This was not a legitimate trade, but neither my son nor I understand how it happened.
Does anyone know what could have happened? Is this a bug, a scam, WTH?
How can I help my son get his items back when Roblox is calling multiple items worth 65,000 Robux being traded for 1,000 Robux as a "legitimate trade." The other use just set up an account on December 20 and has no followers and no friends, which is why I think it's a scam account.
Please, no snarky comments. Please help if you can.
Anonymous wrote:Not sure if someone already posted this, but I just asked my DD and she said there's a hack where the scammer sends a file to look at, which adds a cookie that allows the scammer to access your account. Apparently there is a youtube video warning about this. Good luck OP--maybe if this is what happened to your son, they will restore his items.
