This degree has not been undermined by anyone with real Public Health credentials.  Only those that play one on TV, like Fauci.  He has done a real disservice as he politicized the COVID response and doubles down on coercion as a method for changing health behavior.  [/quote]

Honestly, coercion is required when people won't otherwise do their part. That's the way matters of communal concern need to get handled when lots of people are idiots who can't delay gratification or prioritize the common good. Those of us who are not short-sighted idiots can't be expected to let you do you if "you" means hurting other people.[/quote]
