I will say that, IME, Hucker is typically very responsive to constituent concerns (I’m in his district).  I may not agree with him in everything but I feel like he does listen to people.  He’s not eligible for another term though, right? [/quote]

These people can’t help themselves.  I was hoping fewer candidates  would throw their hat in the ring this time so that we had a chance of getting rid of Elrich but they’re all going to split the vote again aren’t they.  I’d actually prefer Hucker over Reimer/Elrich but don’t think he’d win, I think he’s more likely siphon off votes from Blair.[/quote]
He’s clearly taking votes from Riemer. He’ll probably even centerpiece his campaign in how he delivered Thrive, which was DOA out of committee by Riemer, through his adept skills or whatever as council president.

Running on Thrive is a sure loser countywide. But for the people who care about this crap, he’s probably going to present himself as offering a “mature” choice to Riemer.

It’s honestly funny. I love schadenfreude and Riemer and Anderson deserve it. [/quote]
