No, I'm looking at actual data and evidence rather than hype and click bait. There is probably no greater wedge issue than abortion and there is a lot of motivation to make it appear that people are opposed to it. But there just isn't evidence that the majority oppose it. The majority support abortion rights. I'm a conservative and support abortion rights. A sizable minority of Republicans support abortion rights-- sizable enough that a clear majority of Americans are pro choice.  [/quote]

Given that Roe v Wade has stood the test of time, it appears that it indeed does. Even Trump stated publicly that the TX law will not hold up in court.

Here's an ugly truth: abortion is correlated with lower crime. People don't often discuss this but it means that even people who are "pro life" are generally less committed to the cause than people imagine. Look at actual polling data.  [/quote]
