If you take an obnoxious, virtue signalling stand that seems more geared towards insulting Brent families and your neighbors, yes, you will get pushback. If you express a carefully informed opinion on the merits about how to balance competing interests, you’ll be fine. Plus, your neighbors are not going to be weeding through public comments submitted to the charter board anyway. Thus it appears you are more interested in insulting Brent families here by using the convenient cudgel of “Ward 8 kids.”[/quote]

Spare us your holier-than-thou screed, PPs above.  What I mean is that Brent families played no rule in determining the site of the temporary Latin 2 campus.  Moreover, they can always say that they like.  Expressing carefully informed opinions is nice, but so is speaking your mind in a city and nation where speech is, um, protected.

I strongly suspect that nobody will be "weeding through public comments" related to any aspect of the roll out of Latin 2.  Nobody.[/quote]
