The ONLY reasons to choose ND over those other schools would be money or a very strong specific desire to attend a Catholic school. Maybe that's the case for the PP, which is fine. But the idea that most 18 yr olds would choose ND over UChicago or Princeton, or South Bend over Chicago, is bizarre. All else being equal, those schools have better professors, brighter students, better brand names, stronger alumni networks, better locations, etc., than ND.
