The PP is obviously mentioning that they are Catholic to show that they have an affiliation that might make them predisposed to award more points to ND. But even as a Catholic, they find the idea that ND is on the level of Ivies or Stanford to be laughable. One of the reasons these threads are so tedious is that all the ND boosters are kind of dim, which makes arguing with them exhausting. That should really tell you everything you need to know.[/quote]
