As for the college counselor, this person was recently hired and could not make it even to ED and EA application submission. What is happening in this school that a person coming from the outside cannot even make it six months to help kids submit college applications?

The general consensus is that “oh, it’s bc of the  pandemic and virtual learning is to blame.”  I disagree, there’s more to this. There are not enough classes bc 4x4 and the classes are packed with students. Teachers are overworked and overwhelmed. Some of the behavior in the school by kids is completely unacceptable and there should be consequences.

I don’t understand why parents haven’t picked up on this dysfunction, or if they are aware,  why aren’t more parents speaking out?[/quote]
