What happens to these kids? I assume they now have to take the class in the spring?
Nope, they all just get an A.
For real? They are handing out As to kids who haven't had a day of instruction?

Teachers are not coming to work, there still is no physics teacher, there are few subs, grades are not being updated, student behavior is atrocious. A couple weeks ago there was a student who was bullied online and in school and he was scared to walk through the halls bc he was being threatens. The students know this… but parents do not so nothing is being done.
As for the college counselor, this person was recently hired and could not make it even to ED and EA application submission. What is happening in this school that a person coming from the outside cannot even make it six months to help kids submit college applications?
The general consensus is that “oh, it’s bc of the pandemic and virtual learning is to blame.” I disagree, there’s more to this. There are not enough classes bc 4x4 and the classes are packed with students. Teachers are overworked and overwhelmed. Some of the behavior in the school by kids is completely unacceptable and there should be consequences.
I don’t understand why parents haven’t picked up on this dysfunction, or if they are aware, why aren’t more parents speaking out?
I'm with you 100 percent on this, although I had no idea about the bullying. There is a teacher who hasn't shown up for about half the classes (she teaches two AP classes) and no one seems to care. No one says anything. Meanwhile the kids aren't learning anything.

Oh well. People quit. It happens. He probably received a better offer for more money in a non education environment.

We can’t have threads that complain about school staff quitting in the same place people spent a year calling people lazy and telling them to quit so someone better could take their job
If school staff are quitting because of anonymous comments on the internet, they're the weakest, softest fools around.

They deserve a lot of credit.
That’s great to hear.
It is great. If I were the parent of a senior, I would be “frustrated” so I don’t want to minimize difficulties these seniors face at a critical juncture.
But I am often so impressed by the dedication and energy of Wilson faculty and staff.
