The best part of growing older is growing wiser through constant learning. I cringe now when I see a photo of me dressed like a Native American for the school assembly. I had forgotten all about those classroom activities until about 3 years ago when I saw a photo at my parent's house while my mom was reorganizing. We did stupid things years ago. We had no idea what cultural appropriation was, we used the r word for everything along with the f gay slur, we also said that everything was "gay", and I remember a trend in college where people said the word n-i-k-k-a in place of the n word. But we grew up and we learned that those things were wrong, we learned why they were wrong, and we stopped doing them. [/quote]
