I believe that SMS team now plays in EDP, along with one of the two MSI teams.  Although NCSL D1 *should* be consistently competitive, EDP makes so much more sense for MD teams right now. Both NCSL and EDP should feed up to the USYS National League conferences.  EDP has gotten a lot of mileage out of running the USYS Conferences.  I am not sure why NCSL has not been able to establish a "pathway" from NCSL to the USYS South Atlantic conferences since NCSL is also aligned with USYS.  EDP has started abusing their management of the USYS Conferences as this year there are teams placed that have done nothing to earn their placement.[/quote]
