[/quote] DD carried over an algebra/geometry grade and a foreign language grade from MS - both high Bs. I suppose she could have dropped the math grade, as she did continue on to take four years of progressively harder math in HS. But she would have needed to retain the language grade I believe because several colleges she applied to want to see three years of foreign language. Those grades are on the transcript and counted toward her GPA, which ended up being 3.85 uw. I’m pretty sure most of the colleges disregard the MS grades themselves but do look at courses taken and course rigor. DD did pretty well in the application process this past year, so I think overall the MS grades didn’t hurt, except if she had been reaching for T20 (which she didn’t). [/quote]
