I thought the option was there while in middle school. Not later.
Fwiw my kid moved from Arlington to Loudoun. Got all A+ on those high school classes in middle school (languages etc) but APS doesn’t have an A-plus so it went on the transcript as an A. Fast forward to end of senior year of high school and she missed valedictorian by less than 0.1 point. Had she received A-plus in middle school she would have been valedictorian. Oh well.

Anonymous wrote:Drop the grades in MS if you want to maximize GPA. You definitely can drop MS grades (that were taken for HS credit) and my son is doing just that per the suggestion of college counselor in HS.
