USL 2 is a “pro” league and made up of college kids who don’t lose eligibility. It’s just another option for kids that come home to play with their local club. Stop making a huge deal about nothing. Every club is eligible to play in it. [/quote]

It’s actually not. The only pro leagues in America is MLS, USL Championship, and USL 1. Everything else is semi pro; USL 2, NISA, UPSL, and NPSL. The reason college kids can come back and play and not lose eligibility is because they don’t except pay — not that most teams have a ton of money at all. But there are definitely players trying to make it in USL 2 who may earn $200-$800 a month. [/quote]

Might want to let US Soccer know then so they can update their website. All USL leagues, NASL, and NISA are seen as professional leagues[/quote]
