It doesn't - It's called U23. None of them claimed to be PRO. Hate the poster - not the league.

They most certainly call it 'pro':

That club tends to lie/spew a lot of BS. If it was truly a pro league, those college kids would be losing eligibility.

USL 2 is a “pro” league and made up of college kids who don’t lose eligibility. It’s just another option for kids that come home to play with their local club. Stop making a huge deal about nothing. Every club is eligible to play in it.

It’s actually not. The only pro leagues in America is MLS, USL Championship, and USL 1. Everything else is semi pro; USL 2, NISA, UPSL, and NPSL. The reason college kids can come back and play and not lose eligibility is because they don’t except pay — not that most teams have a ton of money at all. But there are definitely players trying to make it in USL 2 who may earn $200-$800 a month.

Might want to let US Soccer know then so they can update their website. All USL leagues, NASL, and NISA are seen as professional leagues

Again USL 2 is a “pro league”. Players are not paid

Then it is not professional. Even the lowest level minor leaguers in baseball get paid. Not much, but something.
