NP but when you put it that way that is exactly what this policy is requiring families to do.  Also to not have juniors or seniors visit universities outside the DMV.  Many schools fly kids down to visit, take them on tours, etc.  This can help kids have opportunities for scholarships, make decisions on which school to attend, etc.

Fair enough- that actually didn't even cross my mind.  I do think DCPS will have some issues on their hands when the majority of kids who are vaccinated are white and don't miss school but unvaccinated kids, who are black or brown, have to quarantine and miss school for 7 days.[/quote]
