BTW -- newest info on Delta is that if it breaks thru the vax it is not like the other versions where it's a mild illness. If it breaks thru, the risk of hospitalization etc. is the same as it is for unvaccinated people. Per the UK where hospitalizations are up despite vax being up (though they're using a different vax).[/quote]

It is in the UK, which is where OP is probably getting data. BUT OP UK is using non mRNA vaccines while comparatively a very small % of people here got J&J (in Va it's something like 300k people total). Plus this is the variant where 2 shots matters and UK was delaying shot #2 to get more people just 1 shot. So yeah I see why you're concerned but I think the posture is (hopefully) different here esp on the east coast where vax numbers are high.[/quote]
