So, in strict medical terms, she had a miscarriage.[/quote] you're funny. and I think you're wrong. in the US, if I'm not mistaken 1sr tri loss is early miscarriage, 2nd tri until 24 weeks is late miscarriage and stillbirth from then on. and the medical community has no "strict definitions" on anything like this. every country follows different protocols including on handling of the embryo, fetus or child.
