This could be a whole separate topic, but if you google the odds for soccer scholarships for boys vs girls, you will see that after you account for the number of boys and girls playing soccer in high-school, it is significantly easier / more likely for a girl to obtain a scholarship to play soccer than it is for a boy.[/quote]
