[/quote] That's what I learned in Catholic school. The 8th grade TL;DR version is that God locked the gates of Heaven when he ejected Adam and Eve. When Jesus died, God had to unlock the gate to let him back in. It was the original sin which locked the gate. Jesus's death redeemed that sin, and now the gate is open. That's what Jesus is the door means. [/quote]
