She should not escape responsibility for her part in allowing this event to occur. Had federal agencies come out like they did for some of the BLM events and been prepared to make a show of force, we’d not have had the Capitol overrun and hopefully fewer or no lives lost. [/quote]

The tweet and the mayor's jurisdiction is related to the city streets, not the US Capitol. There is absolutely NO substance of blame to the District of Columbia OR Mayor Bowser where the events of January 6, 2021 are concerned. If anything, MPD and the Mayor should be thanks for the quick response in preventing a total disaster that day.
