Why is it important to anyone what you are doing outside? I keep my mask on my face as a courtesy and for my own and my community's safety. There are times when you might find yourself closer to people than they or you are comfortable with. If you were to sneeze without your mask on during those 3 seconds, are your germs getting a memo - "this lady is only walking her dog, and they were close less than 3 seconds, so we gotta not make this other person sick." Stuff happens, and people don't want to take risks for losing their lives, health, and livelihood. Is that hard to understand?
