Period underwear is absorbent leakproof underwear deigned to absorb upwards of 8 tsp of liquid. Some wear just the underwear. Some like it as back up to a pad, tampon or cup. [/quote]

I bought DD BTWN by Thinx. I thought they would be useful since she plays a lot of sports and that it would be more comfortable than a pad at the beginning or end. She hasn’t wanted to try them. Eventually she will use tampons but says she’s not ready for them either. I think it’s my job to let her know there are options available and I’ll buy whatever she wants to try. I don’t push her into using things she doesn’t want to. I certainly don’t think of Thinx as a present. [/quote]
