I am so sorry you are going through this. I have realized a profound truth that most Trump supporters have narcissistic personality disorder. I’m a clinician and feel confident saying this. So there are likely many problems in your marriage and your husband being a Trump supporter is only one of them. It must not been easy to stand up for your believes being married to a person with NPD. I’m here to tell you that you will get through this and divorcing this man will mean that your kids will spend at least fifty percent of their home lives not in the presence of a bully.
I am a liberal who is squarely anti-Trump, but the problem is not as simple as saying all of his supporters have narcissistic personality disorder. He had over 70 million votes and all of those people are not mentally ill. No clinician would make a blanket statement like that.
Look I know it’s shocking to think that so many people have narcissistic traits or the fool disorder but it is true. You have to lack real empathy to have voted for Donald Trump and also feel really entitled. There is a reason so many of these people believe in conspiracy theories. The fact that you belie people who believe in conspiracy theories are just people with normal personalities is misguided
