I voted on policy, and Trump was the better candidate. Biden was so corrupt and Kamala was way too bad to every consider a vote for this “ black” ( not actually black) woman.

Not sure what I am looking for here, I guess advice on how to deal with this.

I’m a clinician and feel confident saying this. So there are likely many problems in your marriage and your husband being a Trump supporter is only one of them. It must not been easy to stand up for your believes being married to a person with NPD. I’m here to tell you that you will get through this and divorcing this man will mean that your kids will spend at least fifty percent of their home lives not in the presence of a bully.
I am a liberal who is squarely anti-Trump, but the problem is not as simple as saying all of his supporters have narcissistic personality disorder. He had over 70 million votes and all of those people are not mentally ill. No clinician would make a blanket statement like that.

You are a joke not a clinician. Have several seats. And I am not even a Trump supporter, I just cannot believe YOUR level of narcissistic unprofessionalism.
+100. If dumbass PP was a halfway decent clinician (what kind, I wonder?), they wouldn’t make these unprofessional and, frankly, dangerous armchair diagnoses. I’m a Democrat but cannot abide such indecency. You should be ashamed of your POS self PP.

It makes sense because in consistent studies liberals are also physically weaker, poorer on average, less informed and less sexually attractive so mental illness could come from that . I’m one of those .

My DH and I did NOT vote for the same candidate in the recent election. I am confident with my choice as he is with his. Move on, the election is over. Is it social media that has made everyone so vocal and immature?
As others have said, It depends on if the difference is a difference of values. As a Democrat, I could be married to a member of the Green Party and, as a Maryland resident, I would even be fine if he “threw away his vote” since Maryland is reliably democratic. But there’s no way I could be married to a Trump supporter. If you don’t see the difference, then I guess we couldn’t be married either!

This! My husband and I are rabid Trump supporters. We will accept the results once all is clear. Republicans 2024! Enjoy while you can! Life is still good with us!
