The “just adopt” statements are so flippantly thrown around by people who lack intelligence and empathy to understand not everybody in this world finds their person early in life or has the financial and emotional support to be a single parent until they are older or that the desire to carry a child with your DNA and physical traits does not go away when you reach a certain age.
