Have a friend who fits this description. She is a multi-million trust fund child and was getting wedding and baby fever. She had a great education and is in a highly-paid profession. Met a guy on-line and within weeks had him move in.  He is good looking and that's about the only attribute he has. Comes from a highly dysfunctional family with a father who is a multiple-times convicted felon and physical abuser and mother who died very young of chronic alcoholism. He never finished high school and works a blue collar job. Has very few basic social skills and is difficult to converse with due to his (honest) ignorance about many subjects. He is hard-core conservative politically, collect guns and blindly believes whatever he hears.  But he is very brawny and handsome.

She rules the roost (and the checkbook) and he worships the ground she walks on. For now. We had gone out to dinner with them and it was extremely uncomfortable because she was verging on verbal abuse of him.  Referred to him as an idiot when he stepped away and she wasn't joking. When he expressed an opinion about something she gave him looks that could kill and told him that if he was a "real man" he would not think that way and would do what she said. Within a year she was pregnant and gave birth.

We figured he is nothing more than a sperm donor.  Predict one of two things: She will do a high-priced steamroll divorce and dump him before he knows what happens. Or his brawny brain will eventually click in and he will push back. Hard.  [/quote]
