I have always thought this group sucked due to not including all moms. How are you going to call yourself “moms” club but exclude working moms, a larger percentage of mothers. This group is only meant to support a certain kind of mom-white and affluent.
I was in a group like this at one time and I don't know if it was an "official" group but it had the same problem of working moms complaining they were left out because they couldn't attend the 10am play session on Tuesday. But the moms who wanted to meet at different times never offered to organize their own play session at a better time. They just complained that the host setting up play dates weren't doing it at a convenient time for them. The whole point was for a host, any group member can host, to set up a play date and it was an open invitation to anyone in the group who wanted to attend. The onus was on the person complaining to offer to host at a better time/location, but they preferred to complain. It wasn't hard, a lot of play dates were just meet ups at a local park. Why couldn't working mom host one at 10am on Saturday if Tuesday doesn't work? Does MOMS Club not work like this?
