Now you've gone from "critical mistake" to "I don't care." Feel free to ignore since you are just talking about things you know nothing about. As as for "even on friend," whatever that means - i am not mistaken that DS got in and got money. Again male and private, but still admitted. But OP, check these schools out. They are solid top to bottom and well worth the consideration.
First, it was a typo, "even one friend". Should not have been hard to discern but I'll try and be clearer for you. Also, you misrepresent my thoughts which were clearly stated: - You are lying or extremely mistaken. I do care about that. - I believe you are lying but I don't care what your motivation is. Everything clear now?
Plainly I am not mistake that DS got in with the stats I quoted or that he was offered money as an inducement to attend. That some students have low scores does not reflect badly on an institution if you are insecure about your attendance at one of these schools. My motivation was to answer the question posed in good faith. You still haven't explained why someone should lie about this and instead resort to attacks. Again, the schools are not out of range. Best of luck to OP.
For the third or fourth (and definitely LAST) time. I do not know why you would lie; I just know you are, and I posted common data sets from the college to show it. Read them. Learn them. Conn: 26 ACT likely in bottom 15% of enrolled class and 2.9 GPA in bottom 2%. Trinity: 26 likely in bottom 16% of enrolled class and 2.9 in bottom 5%. Those are facts. You have access to data to support your lie but won't provide. I will summarize and then exit because you will never show any proof: No student applying to Conn College or Trinity College with a 26 ACT and a 2.9 GPA from any school is getting merit money RD without another hook.
