DH acknowledges that he has a problem. He’s had health problems as a result of his drinking, not to mention the legal troubles because he does stupid things like going out and walking drunk. I am upset because FIL verbally assured me that there would be something for our children and it turns out the only asset left to them through DH is the property. The property is out of state and not worth a lot. It just seems unbalanced that FIL’s wife gets much more than his son. [/quote]
