Could you rent a car for a few weeks from the airport with Maine plates? Might be worth the piece of mind, if you can afford to do so. [/quote] Rentals are easy to spot, and there aren't many cars with Maine plates. The two times I've rented in Bangor I got a MA and a WI car. [/quote]
