My second c section was electively scheduled for 39 weeks because I had an emergency c section due to severe HELLP and preeclampsia during my first pregnancy. My second pregnancy was entirely uneventful and I could have tried for a VBAC. I would likely be cancelled in this environment and who knows, maybe my preeclampsia would have come back, its much higher risk to reemerge after 39 weeks in subsequent pregnancies. So stop sticking your nose in other women's decisions and being a judgmental jerk during an exceptionally trying time.[/quote]
