First responders and others with essential jobs have to have childcare. Some of us do not have the option to work from home and our workplaces cannot shut down. So while there are many, many fewer kids at my daughter's preschool, it remains open. She has had 3-5 kids in her class this week, as opposed to the typical 12. They are thoroughly sanitizing -- the place smells like a Clorox bottle.
3-5 kids is far better than 12.
My kid’s been at home with me this week but my daycare has always kept the kids in small groups and now they’ve split them even more into pairs of best friends/close in age . Workers wear gloves at all times and change constantly. They take turns cleaning. The setup of the daycare makes this possible.
