True, but that was in 2000. There was an investigation opened, but nothing came of it.

Now you have a second daughter kidnapped, a high-profile divorce case with a damning ruling against the Sheikh, finding that he kidnapped both of the other daughters and conducted a campaign of abuse against Haya. The judge even implicated the British Foreign Office in withholding information about Shamsa's case. I have no doubt he has the resources at hand, but it'd be hard to ever restore that diplomatic relationship. He can bide his time and lure the kids back when they are older.[/quote]
