Why do politicians like Levine and others feel entitled to threaten MY life, but get upset when someone does something they perceive is a threat to them? Will someone explain why this is ok? Because when you tell me you're going to pass a law to make things that are perfectly legal right now a felony, with the intent of backing it up with deadly force, with police kicking down doors and confiscating guns, then I perceive THAT as a threat to my life. But that's ok for politicians? They can threaten my life, with impunity? How's that work?
I'm sorry this was never explained to you, but that's how life in civilized society works. The government makes laws. If you violate those laws, there are consequences. Every time the legislature makes a law, something that had been previously legal becomes illegal. That's how lawmaking works. And yes, when the government makes laws, they are backed up with force, and if necessary, deadly force. That's how laws work. While you may feel the world revolves around you, it's really nothing personal. And no, you're not allowed to interfere with the lawmaking process just because you disagree with the legislature's idea of what should be legal.
