I can decide for myself what makes a family, and I can also decide that your girlfriend, her girlfriend's occasional lover, your next door neighbor, and your teacher from the third grade are not a family.  But I'm amused that people who decide to choose such a lifestyle care so much what other people think.  I don't "get a say in anyone else's family," but I am free to form an opinion on whether that is actually your family.  It isn't.[/quote]
